About the Employer
The MBN (Meso-Bio-Nano) Research Center gGmbH (https://www.mbnresearch.com/) was founded in Frankfurt, Germany, in 2014. The Center develops state-of-the-art scientific software packages and takes efforts towards their wide distribution and utilisation in research and technology. Its offices are located in close vicinity to Campus Riedberg of the Goethe University Frankfurt.
MBN Research Center carries out a broad programme of frontier research based on the use of its powerful software. The Center promotes the use of high-performance computing in novel and emerging technologies. 
MBN Research Center collaborates with a large number of partners worldwide. It hosts their visits, participates in collaborative research projects, and organises thematic conferences. It also provides hands-on tutorials for software users and training courses in the application of computational methods in different areas of academic and industrial research.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and well-organised Project Manager to support the team of MBN Research Center in coordinating and implementing tasks within ongoing European collaborative research projects.

Key Responsibilities


  • Communicate regularly with project partners across Europe and worldwide
  • Support the organisation of scientific and management meetings (in-person, hybrid, online)
  • Assist in the preparation, formatting, and timely submission of projects’ deliverables and reports to the European Commission
  • Gather, create, and curate project-relevant content for dissemination
  • Update and maintain projects-related content on the MBN Research Center’s website and social media channels (especially LinkedIn)


Working Hours


  • 10 hours per week, including 1–2 hours of in-person work once per week
  • Remaining hours can be completed flexibly and remotely, based on project needs

Anforderungen

Requirements

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
  • Good written and spoken English; additional European languages are an asset
  • Familiarity with EU research projects is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of social media and content management
  • Reliability, independence, and a proactive approach to tasks
