The Position
It’s an exciting time to join our team! We are growing and in transition, and are looking to strengthen our organization by providing part-time administrative support (student support) in the implementation of training activities.
Background
IFOAM - Organics International Organic Academy has been contracted to provide Training of Teams of Trainers (ToToT) in eight Southern and West African countries in the frame of the establishment of the Knowledge Hub Centres. The objective of the trainings is enhancing knowledge and skills of selected master trainers who will train Rural Service Providers (RSPs) and change agents in strengthening Ecological Organic Agriculture in Africa.

As Student Assistant you will support the project coordinator with all upcoming tasks in administration and finance issues:

Qualifications & Experience
There is not a formal requirement of a skill set but alignment with the goal of IFOAM – OI, an interest in dealing with numbers and figures as well as communicating and negotiating with people from different cultures would be suitable.
Language
Fluency in oral and written English, knowledge of French is an additional asset
You will join a culturally diverse team of more than 30 employees at our office in Bonn, Germany. As a student assistant, you will work with the Capacity Development Department members, reporting directly to the project coordinator of the KCOAs.
Our Offer
We offer a part-time (16 hours/ 2 days per week) position. The period for the support can start at earliest on 1st of March 2021 and ends on 31st of August 2021 (extension may be possible).
We offer a monthly salary of EUR 965 (gross).
Be Aware
Due to the pandemic situation, the person will need to adhere to the hygienic measures that the office of IFOAM – OI has introduced. Good and close coordination with the project coordinators is needed in order to ensure handing-over of tasks, coaching and guidance, etc.
IFOAM – Organics International offers for this position a monthly salary of for this position, depending on the set of skills you are bringing.
